Jalalabad State Medical University has established in 1993 and is a hub to provide higher education in several fields. The university has all sorts of programs for diplomas, bachelors degrees, masters degrees, and doctorate degrees too.
The university provides ample exposure to students in medical field by helping them visit several hospitals for practicing in later years of course. The university has it's various departments spread throughout the city.
Jalalabad State Medical University is recognized by international organizations including WHO as well as MCI. The university has ample number of Asian students who are enrolled in medical faculty and is among renowned medical colleges in Kyrgyzstan.
Jalalabad State University has several faculties which are as follows : Medicine, Nursing, Pedagogy, Psychology, Ecology, Engineering, Mechanics, Biology, Literature, etc. Among all these faculties, medical faculty receives the most number of applicants each year from several countries.
Each year medical faculty attracts most number of students from abroad as compared to other faculties for courses in English medium. All other faculties are available in Russian medium only.
